Physical Plant Facilities and Properties HISTORY
Physical Plant Facilities and Properties Office started its office thru the approval of the Board of Trustees in a Board Resolution No. 64, series of 1996. The responsibilities of the PPFP can be seen from the description of duties and responsibilities of its director. Among them, the director "provides economical and efficient management of the physical facilities, their maintenance and development of the campuses."
RESPONSIBILITIES & SERVICES
TERMS OF REFERENCE
IN-CHARGE PHYSICAL PLANT AND FACILITIES
1. Manages and supervises all infrastructure projects of the SSC, such as repair, renovation and new construction
of buildings, fencing, pathways, water facilities and etc.
2. Identifies projects for ensuing years.
3. Recommends to the president through the Campus Director buildings for renovation, repair and condemnation.
4. Prepares SITE Development Plant of SSC.
5. Prepares plans and estimates, specifications, programs, scope of works, bid documents and
contracts for all infrastructure projects.
6. Determines signs and recommends percentage of completion, liquidated damages, change order, price escalation,
suspension of work and extension of contract in coordination with Campus Director, BAC, Office of the President/
Vice President for Administration.
7. Prepares and determines the schedule of Inspection Committee upon request of the contractor.
8. Determines the needs of his/her unit, particularly supplies and materials, equipment & etc.
9. Prepares and submits monthly development report on the progress of on-going infrastructure projects of the College.
10. Carry out the day to day implementation of safety and health in the construction.
11. Carry out other related duties as may be assigned to him.
